Today, we are delighted to introduce two new members of our team: Dr. Suneel Kumar BVS – Director of CADD, and Matej Janezic, PhD – Associate Scientist II.

Suneel received his Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He has over 18 years of industry experience in both Big Pharma and CROs. He contributed to the discovery and development of multiple preclinical and clinical candidates using computational chemistry and machine learning approaches. Suneel further diversifies our expertise in different methodologies and with different target classes.

Matej received his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from The University of Tokyo after completing his M.Sc. degree in Pharmacy. He was part of numerous research projects: notably, the discovery of several new, potent small molecule inhibitors of the anticancer target, human DNA topoisomerase IIα. Matej will contribute to ongoing and upcoming drug discovery projects.
